MY VILAGE


           My village is Kirimatiwatta. It's in Kurunegala district. Also, it's a village belonging to the Yapahuwa Kingdom That's why my village is often used for filming. Most of my memories from childhood to now are tied to this village. It's a big deal that my village has all the basic needs for a person to live. The place I'm most fond of in my beautiful village is the Madiyawa Lake. Sometimes I enjoy its beauty sitting on boats. I love swimming there and often meet up with friends in the evening to do so .




The villagers conduct a 'Kiri Ithuru Mangallaya' every year for the village's safety. Also, the people are very kind-hearted.





 Another unique thing is that wild elephants live near our village. Their behavior sometimes scares the village, but some of those scenes make the village even more beautiful. Anyway, my aim is to serve the village where I've grown up from childhood .

She is the most precious person in my life. And my father says that she is very beautiful. She gives us love, compassion and protection. there fore, it is our duty to protect her .   The most beautiful journey of my life  Sri Pada was the most beautiful journey I've ever taken. It was my first time visiting and worshipping there. I went with my best friend Tanuja and a few other friends.  We prepared everything the day before and left by train at 5:30 am. We sang songs and enjoyed the scenery along the way. We reached the starting point of the climb in the evening and began our ascent, remembering Buddha and the gods. After a while, we took a break at Seetha Gagula, freshened up, and enjoyed the snacks our moms had made for us. It was an incredible experience 😍. We climbed together, worshipped, and took in the breathtaking views from the top.  The feeling of freedom was indescribable. We brought back memories and treats to share with our loved ones. That's the most beautiful journey of my life 😊.
